A hybrid solar system combines solar panels, a lithium battery, and a grid connection — all managed through one hybrid inverter. During the day, solar powers your home and charges the battery. At night or during load shedding, the battery supplies power automatically. If solar and battery are both low, the grid provides backup.
This guide gives you the exact specifications and real MFES pricing for hybrid solar systems from 5kW to 20kW in Pakistan — including GoodWe hybrid inverters with AIKO panels, and separate battery pricing for GoodWe, Saluna, and Dayness lithium batteries so you can compare your options clearly.
What Is a Hybrid Solar System?
A hybrid solar system in Pakistan is a solar setup with three components: solar panels on your roof, a lithium battery for energy storage, and a hybrid inverter that manages all three power sources — solar, battery, and grid — automatically. The result: free daytime solar power, battery backup through load shedding and at night, and the grid as a safety net when needed.
In 2026, hybrid systems have replaced on-grid systems as the most popular choice for Pakistani homeowners because NEPRA’s net billing rules make storing surplus solar in a battery far more valuable than exporting it to the grid.

Why Choose MFES Solar Energy for Your Hybrid System?
MFES Solar Energy has been installing hybrid solar systems across Pakistan for 9 years, with 60MW+ completed and 3,000+ residential installations. What makes MFES different from most solar companies in Lahore is not just the component quality — it is the after-sales infrastructure.
- ERP-based after-sales system: Every installation is registered in MFES’s automated complaint portal. Faults are logged online, auto-scheduled to a service engineer, tracked until resolved. No pending complaints. This matters especially for hybrid systems, which have more components than basic on-grid setups.
- AIKO N-Type ABC panels: AIKO’s 650W N-Type ABC technology is among the most advanced commercial panels available in Pakistan in 2026 — higher efficiency than standard PERC panels, superior performance in heat, and backed by a 30-year performance warranty.
- GoodWe hybrid inverters: GoodWe is a global top-5 inverter manufacturer. The IP66-rated 2025 models used by MFES include smart monitoring apps and are compatible with all major lithium battery brands.
- Transparent, verified pricing: Every price in this guide is taken directly from MFES’s own Bill of Quantity documents. No inflated estimates, no vague ranges.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the price of a 5kW hybrid solar system in Pakistan in 2026?
A complete 5kW hybrid solar system from MFES using AIKO 650W panels and a GoodWe 5kW inverter costs Rs. 805,000 without battery (L2/L3 structure) or Rs. 878,600 with uplift structure. Adding a GoodWe 5kWh battery brings the total to Rs. 1,075,000. Adding a Dayness 16kWh battery for full-night coverage brings the total to Rs. 1,495,000. Prices subject to market fluctuation — confirm with MFES on 0300-1599957.
What is the best battery for a 10kW hybrid system in Pakistan?
The Dayness 16kWh battery (Rs. 690,000) is currently the most popular choice for 10kW hybrid systems in Pakistan. It provides full-night coverage for a 10 marla home, is well-priced relative to alternatives, and pairs seamlessly with GoodWe inverters. The GoodWe 14.3kWh battery (Rs. 725,000) is the premium alternative. For outdoor installation, the Saluna 10kWh IP65 (Rs. 610,000) is a good choice.
What is the difference between GoodWe IP21 and IP65 batteries?
IP21 means the battery is protected against vertical water dripping only — suitable for indoor installation in a covered utility room or garage. IP65 means the battery is fully dust-tight and protected against low-pressure water jets — suitable for outdoor installation. Saluna’s 10kWh and 32kWh batteries carry IP65 rating, making them the choice when indoor battery space is not available.
What is the price difference between a 12kW 1-phase and 3-phase hybrid system?
The 12kW 3-phase system costs Rs. 90,000 more than the 12kW 1-phase system (Rs. 1,410,000 vs Rs. 1,320,000 on L2/L3 structure). The 3-phase inverter is more expensive because it handles three-phase power balancing required for commercial LESCO connections. Most residential homes use single-phase; most commercial properties use three-phase.
Do these prices include LESCO net billing application?
MFES manages the complete LESCO net billing application process as part of every installation. This includes preparing all documentation, attending the DISCO inspection, and overseeing the net billing meter change. There is no separate charge for this service at MFES.
How long is the warranty on AIKO panels and GoodWe inverters?
AIKO 650W panels carry a 15-year product warranty and a 30-year linear performance warranty. GoodWe hybrid inverters in the MFES premium package carry a 10-year warranty (5 years on the 6kW model). GoodWe and Saluna batteries carry 10-year and 7-year warranties respectively depending on the model.
Why do prices fluctuate for solar systems in Pakistan?
Solar system prices in Pakistan are affected by international component prices (mainly from China), the PKR-USD exchange rate, import duties, and local supplier stock levels. A 5 to 15 percent price movement in either direction within a 3 to 6 month period is not uncommon. This is why MFES recommends always calling for a confirmed, current quotation before making any purchasing decision.
